Korpoström is one of the truly historical landings in the Aboland archipelago. The small village is beautifully set, right where land meets sea, and right on the shore you’ll find the small local store.
This was the place where locals as well as sailors used to provide themselves with foodstuff of all kinds, and still today the store has that same mission. In 2008 we totally renovated the store, but meticulously preserving the genuine time-warping atmosphere. You wouldn’t believe the stories these walls could tell!
We would like to thank all our customer for the past season and see you again in June 2018!

Korpoström – the vibrant village
Korpoström has over just the past few decades evolved into a sparkling and live archipelagic stronghold. The beauty of the setting is certainly one of the things attracting people to come, and the same applies to the magnificent Archipelago Centre where exhibitions of art, concerts and anything culture is frequently arranged.
The guest harbour and marina with a restaurant opened in 2008, and the 32-bed hotel in 2009. Nowadays, Korpoström meets visitors from close by and far throughout the year, mostly in the summer, of course. Strandboden, too, happily grabbed the challenge of working for an archipelago even more alive.
